１　趣旨?目的
コロナ禍で活動の機会を失った若手芸術家に発表の場を提供するためにオンライン上で始まった「東京藝大アートフェス」の次なる展開として、藝大生や卒業?修了生?出身者の世界との繋がりを支援し、活躍の場を広げることを目的に、開催の場をアメリカのニューヨークに移し、みずほNY支店やその他の現地機関等とも連携し、「東京藝大アートフェスinNY」を開催いたします。

２　東京藝大アートフェス in NYの概要
①藝大在学生および卒業?修了生?出身者からテーマに沿った作品の画像／映像を提出いただきます。
②応募の中から、以下の受賞作品を選定します。審査結果は、東京藝大アートフェスWebサイトで発表します。
　?学長賞：3点 賞金30万円　（学長の審査により選定）
　　うち、1点には副賞を付与（NY展示への現地参加／代表者1名のみ）
　?みずほ賞：4点 賞金15万円　（?みずほ?社員の意見を参考に学長が選定）
　　うち、1点には副賞を付与（NY展示への現地参加／代表者1名のみ）
③受賞作品については、2026年5月中下旬頃にNYで展示?発表いたします。
　?副賞付の2点はアーティスト自身にNYへ渡航いただきます。(応募の時点で、NYへの渡航可否を選択していただきます。)
　?他5点（副賞以外の受賞作品）は応募時に提出いただいた画像データや映像データのパネルまたはモニタ投影による展示となります。
④NYでの展示期間にあわせて、現地の様子や、各作品?作家の情報、アーティスト自らによる作品に対する思いや制作過程、作品解説などを、
　東京藝大アートフェスWebサイトに掲載し、また、展示期間終了後、同サイトはアーカイブする予定です。

３　スケジュール

４　募集するテーマ及び作品分野
テーマ：歴史と現代が未来につながる日本の芸術文化
作品分野：美術、音楽、映像、複合（核となる分野を特定できない芸術分野）等
※作品は、個人又はグループ（10人程度迄）が創作するものとし、提出作品の所有権が応募者本人及びグループに帰属するものに限ります。
※テーマに合致する作品であれば、本募集以前に制作された作品の応募も可能です（既発表の作品も含む）。

５　応募資格（次のいずれかに該当する方）
①正規課程の在籍者（休学中の学生を含む）
②本学出身者（卒業?修了生のほか、中退した者含む）
※グループでの応募の場合、応募代表者は上記①②に限りますが、メンバーは他大学在籍者?出身者も可とします。

６　応募について
必ず応募規約を熟読の上、応募してください。
なお、応募は、同一応募者から1件とします。

７　賞及び賞金
? 東京藝術大学長賞（3点） 1点30万円
? みずほ賞（4点） 1点15万円
※賞の内容、点数は変更となる可能性があります。
※各賞の受賞作品のうち１点については、副賞として、代表者１名に対し、ニューヨーク展示への現地参加(作品の現地での展示?発表)のための往復航空券と宿泊先(5～7泊程度)を提供します。

８　審査
?学長賞については、学長が作品審査を行い、選出します。
?みずほ賞については、?みずほ?社員の意見を参考に学長が選出します。
?副賞の対象となる受賞作品については、学長と?みずほ?との協議により選出します。
?審査はすべて、Webフォームへの登録内容と提出物にて実施します。
?審査結果については、2026年3月下旬頃に、東京藝大アートフェスWebサイトで発表予定です。
※審査の過程においては応募作品は公開されません。審査結果発表後も、受賞作品以外は公開されません。

９　「東京藝大アートフェス in NY」の会期?開催場所
?会期：2026年6月中下旬頃（1週間程度を予定）
?展示会場（予定）：?みずほ?NY支店 または NEW MUSEUM別館(建設中)
※開催時期や開催場所、会期の長さについては、現地の状況等を踏まえ、変更になる可能性があります。
※会期終了後、受賞作品及びNY展示の様子をアーカイブ化し、引き続き閲覧できるようにする予定です。

1. Purpose and Objectives
As the next step for Tokyo Geidai ARTFES, which began online to provide young artists who lost opportunities due to the pandemic with a platform to showcase their work, we will relocate the event to New York City, USA. Our goal is to support connections between Geidai students, graduates, and alumni with the global art world and expand their opportunities for activity. We will collaborate with Mizuho Bank’s New York branch and other local institutions to host “Tokyo Geidai ARTFES in NY”.

2. Outline of “Tokyo Geidai ARTFES in NY”
(1) Current students, graduates, and alumni of Tokyo University of the Arts are invited to submit images/videos of works aligned with the theme.
(2) From the submissions, the following award-winning works will be selected. Results will be announced on the Tokyo University of the Arts Art Festival website.
?President’s Award: 3 works, ?300,000 prize (selected by the President)
　One of these will receive an additional prize (on-site participation in the NY exhibition / for one representative only)
?Mizuho Prize: 4 works, ?150,000 prize money (selected by the President with input from Mizuho employees)
　One of these will receive an additional prize (on-site participation in the NY exhibition / for one representative only)
(3) Award-winning works will be exhibited and presented in New York around mid-to-late May 2026.
?The two works with supplementary prizes require the artist to travel to New York. (At the time of application, applicants must indicate whether they can travel to New York.)
?The other 5 works (award-winning works without supplementary prizes) will be exhibited using panel displays or monitor projections of the image or video data submitted at the time of application.
(4) During the New York exhibition period, information about the local scene, details on each work and artist, the artists’ own thoughts on their works and creative processes, and work explanations will be posted on the Tokyo University of the Arts Art Festival website. After the exhibition period ends, this site will be archived.

Theme: Japanese Arts and Culture: Where History and the Contemporary Connect to the Future
Types of work: fine art, music, video, composite (works for which a single type cannot be specified), etc.
※The work must be created by an individual or a group of up to 10 people, and the work must be owned by the individual applicant or the group.
※Works created prior to this call for submissions may be submitted as long as they align with the theme (including previously published works).

5. Eligibility (applicants must meet one of the following criteria)
(1) Current student at Tokyo Geidai (including leave of absence）
(2) Former student at Tokyo Geidai
*For groups (maximum 10 people), the main applicant must be a current or former Tokyo Geidai student, but group members may be from other universities.

Only one entry from the same applicant is allowed.

7. Awards and prize money
? Tokyo University of the Arts President’s Award 300,000 yen per work (3 works total)
? Mizuho Award 150,000 yen per work (4 works total)
※The award details and number of prizes are subject to change.
※For one winning work from each award category, the supplementary prize will provide one representative with round-trip airfare and accommodation (approximately 5 to 7 nights) to participate in the New York exhibition (for the on-site display and presentation of the work).

8. Review
?The President’s Award will be selected by the President after reviewing the entries.
?The Mizuho Award will be selected by the President, taking into consideration the opinions of Mizuho employees.
?Entries eligible for supplementary prizes will be selected through consultation between the President and Mizuho.
?All judging will be conducted based solely on the content submitted via the web form and the submitted materials.
?Judging results are scheduled to be announced on the Tokyo University of the Arts Art Festival website around late March 2026.
※Submitted works will not be made public during the judging process. Even after the results are announced, only the winning works will be made public.
